Industrial Scale Weight Indicator Model: VWI / VWI-SS

The VWI, a low-cost, multi-function digital indicator from Load Cell Central, provides a cost-effective solution for a wide variety of applications such as check weighing, force monitoring, and parts counting. Low and high limit setpoints are standard for batching applications. With an internal 1,000,000 count resolution, the programmable VWI is accurate enough for the most precise weighing tasks. Its user-friendly design and clear, concise instructions make it ideal for basic weighing as well, with quick and easy setup even for those new to electronic weighing technology. Two RS-232C ports, one full duplex (bi-directional) and one simplex (output only), provide easy interface with a PC or PLC. Up to 119 characters are programmable for the VWI's custom print format. Designed for strain gage load cells of all capacities, the VWI allows you to select either 5 or 10 VDC excitation voltage. Ideal for multiple cell applications, the VWI will drive up to six 350 ohm cells at 10 VDC, or up to twelve 350 ohm cells at 5 VDC. Its bright 7-digit LED display can be switched at will between any two standard units (pounds, kilograms, grams, or ounces) without recalibration, or set up for any desired weight/force units. Other features include 18 button, 10 digit tactile keypad and rugged ABS enclosure; optional stainless steel for outdoor/washdown use.
