The TLM8 load cell transmitter is ideal for basic weighing systems as well as industrial applications. The unit communicates to a PLC and other devices via analog output, optional ethernet, or fieldbus communication protocol.

This weighing transmitter has the features of a digital load cell system: The TLM8's connections for up to 8 load cells eliminates the need for a junction box because it has digital trimming of the individual load cells (no trim pots). On-board diagnostics of the scale system shows the mV output from each channel, percentage of load on each active channel, and will indicate any open circuits in load cells and leads. This feature is a big time saver for new weighing systems because it allows the installer to see if the load is evenly distributed between the load cells to assess whether further leveling is required.
*For applications where the load cell cables are not long enough to reach the TLM8, a standard load cell junction box can still be used and a single cable connected to the transmitter.
