Load Cell Central's 422 has a rugged powder-coated steel enclosure (model 410 has a stainless steel enclosure).  It is the only digital weight meter in its class that is fully programmable in an easy and flexible macro language called Scale Basic™.  In addition to the built-in modes of operation, Scale Basic allows you to customize the operation of the 422 to meet your application requirements.  The Scale Basic language provides various commands and functions that include:  Math operations, I/O control, setpoints, timers, data entry, ID storage, message display, and program sequence control among others.  The 422 can be programmed through the keyboard or a PC using the optional software that greatly facilitates setup and programming. For options for remote displays,  see weight scale remote displays

    Pre-Programmed Modes

    • MODE 0 - Normal
Basic gross, tare and net weighing.
    • MODE 1 - Keyboard Tare
Same as Mode 0 but tare weight is keyboard entered.
    • MODE 2 - Print Weight and Total
Print multiple gross or net weights and keep a running total for the job, lot, etc. Print accumulated gross, tare and net totals at the end.
    • MODE 3 - Print Weight With Subtotal and Total
Same as Mode 2 but subtotals can be printed.
    • MODE 4 - Multi-Container/Axle Weighing
Push the PRINT button to sequentially number and print a series of weights.  Push the TOTAL button to print and clear the total.
    • MODE 5 - Auto Weigh and Print (Auto Axle Weigh)

on the scale.  Provides traffic light control and trip level configuration.
    • MODE 6 - Auto Axle Weigh (Long Scales)
Same as Mode 5 but previous axles are auto tared.
    • MODE 7 - Peak Hold Mode
Display or print the "Peak" value for the gross or net weight.
    • MODE 8 - Over/Under Checkweigh
