Model PCD: Donut Load Cell
Load Cell Central's Model PCD donut load cell features a 1.5" O.D., and I.D.'s from 1/8" to 3/8" with a thru-hole design perfect for compression applications which require the load structure to pass directly through the load cell. Such applications include bolt force measurements and clamping forces. This donut load cell performs within a maximum full scale non-linearity and hysteresis of 0.5%. For optimum performance, these cells must be mounted between load surfaces which are machined flat and parallel.

Inner Diameter Selection Instructions
The chart below indicates that with a single element size (1.5" outside diameter), different inner diameters are available. For example, it is possible to have a 1,000 lb load cell with up to 4 different I.D. options.
We utilize actual hole dimensions to provide some clearance; for example the 1/8" (-P) diameter dimension, the actual dimension is 0.128".
To choose an inner diameter, pick the capacity needed and add the order code to the model name, i.e. the PCD-1K-S is a 10,000 lb through hole load cell with an inner diameter of 3/8".
